STS Conference 2024: We don't know the future of work. We have to invent it! |
Join us in beautiful Vancouver to explore and design the future of human-centered, AI-supported work … not just AI-controlled or AI-eliminated work. The 2024 Roundtable meeting is a 3-day DESIGN LAB to develop principles and prototypes of digital and AI-supported “Good Work”. Participants will apply these principles in industry teams to co-design possibilities for human-centered work and organizations for their industry — Agriculture, Health Care/Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Manufacturing. The Design Lab will feature a customized mix of various methods — participative design, future scoping, design thinking, search conferences, and AI-supported deliberation design — coupled with brief, provocative presentations by thought leaders to stimulate innovative thinking. Why you need to attend The potential impact of digital tools and artificial intelligence on the future of work and our organizations is profound and as yet, unclear.
